We Love Books

"Let the wild rumpus begin"
"Can't go over it, can't go under it. Oh no! Have to go through it!"
Little Explorers is passionate about messy, fun, engaging activity based on favorite stories. We create meaningful sensory experiences to bring these treasured stories alive for you and your child. Through those stories we discover, take risks, cooperate, share, and make new friends.
In our sensory activities, we use a variety of tools to promote fine motor skills, and encourage open-ended questions. We scoop, dig, hammer, squeeze, grasp, smoosh, manipulate, splash and build.
During our gross motor play, we foster coordination, balance, strength, body awareness, and essential motor skills. We sing, move, jump, hop, play ball, skip, throw bean bags, catch, dance, and laugh (especially at Miss Lisa's and Miss Kim's silliness!)
Exploring with our senses would not be complete without process art. We paint (hardly ever with brushes!) glue, glitter, stamp, spray, splat, creating a lasting work of art based solely on imagination. Some classes will include childrens' favorites - Parachute Play, Scavenger Hunts, Outdoor Nature Walks, and Obstacle Courses.
We're thankful for the opportunity to provide you and your child a space to connect with each other and others without distraction and cleanup. Come make a mess with us, and join the classes kids never want to leave!
"I love you up to the moon and back"
"And chances are, if he asks for a glass of milk, he's going to want a cookie to go with"
